Why SIRRIS chose countroll^® as a smart product inspirator case ? The roller monitoring and management platform countroll^® allows customers to optimise their roller operations and achieve higher roller performance.

The countroll® rotating sensor is a battery-powered sensor that transfers roller data via Bluetooth to the countroll app on a smartphone or tablet. In the app the digital passport and all underlying technical data of each roller, uniquely identified through a patented QR-code for robust environments (chemicals, humidity, temperature), can be consulted. The countroll^® web portal gives an overview of the regrinding & recovering history of the rollers. At the same time an end-customer can change the location of rollers (in stock, mounted in machine, at manufacturer), link rollers with packaging, link rollers with logical locations (ex. warehouse, ...), add and access documents (inspection documents, regrinding reports,…), add pictures for quality purposes and create custom events. The raw data of the sensor (rotations, speed, speed differences, ambiant temperature and vibrations) is made available through an API for specific analyses by data scientists.
